Molly Yurick is a Spanish-to-English subtitler, transcriber, and translator with a passion for helping linguists break into the subtitling industry. Her subtitles can be seen on major streaming platforms like Netflix, including hit series such as Money Heist, Snow Girl, Valeria, and Berlin.

With a background in Spanish and Global Studies from the University of Minnesota—plus a certificate in medical interpreting—Molly built her career as a freelance translator specializing in tourism and hospitality. When the Covid-19 pandemic brought the travel industry to a halt, she pivoted into subtitling. Just one year after completing a subtitling course, her first subtitled film debuted on Netflix. Now an experienced subtitler, Molly is dedicated to helping language professionals enter the subtitling field with her courses and consulting.

Molly is also an active volunteer as Deputy Chair of the American Translators Association’s Public Relations Committee and a member of ATRAE, Spain’s association of audiovisual translators.
